One of the best burgers, milkshakes and onion rings of my life. Truly a gem. Absolutely delicious! Amazing atmosphere.

How in the world had I not found this place! Been to Anchorage ten times in last seven years and never found this gem till today which is my last day of a 14 day trip for work. This place is amazing! Service was top notch, kids working counter were nice polite. There was a line but that is a good sign! Will be back next trip for sure, amazing atmosphere all around. Burger was cooked perfect and bacon was abundant and not two little limp slices but six pieces of crispy bacon like it should be on a Bacon Cheeseburger!

If you are from Anchorage, odds are you have been here. If you are visiting, it is a perfect first stop. This classic Alaskan history heavy, burger stop has arguably the best burgers in town only to be rivaled by their milkshakes and atmosphere. The rustic interfering has more history than some museums and a beautiful creek view. If you are new and want the full experience I would highly recommend a burger, a milkshake and the house made onion petals. Just know this is an all cash establishment.

Arctic Roadrunner is an Alaskan Landmark. Located on The Old Seward highway on the beautiful bank of Campbell Creek. There is plenty of outdoor eating to enjoy thar beautiful 65 degree weather. Indoor is iconic with picture and replica scatter throughout. This place is a fast food joint, there's no other way to describe it. But it's a great fast food restaurant. They cook your food while you wait so it take a little time. And the food is really good. Sorry no food pics or table was rarher crowded and our friend and use were playing a card game. This place moves the people through because a lot of people come here. It's an Anchorage icon. Do yourself a favor and enjoy it. Will I go back? Hell yes and you will too.

After some online research on places we should eat at while in Anchorage one restaurant kept popping up. Artic Roadrunner was a "must try" place. Wow, we were glad we did. It's a really busy place so don't be surprised at a little crowd. You order at the counter where they give you a number while the food is cooked. It's a "hopping" place, sometimes a bit chaotic, but it's worth the wait. The burgers are amazing. But the best part, the Onion Pieces (not the standard, food service onion rings). These are a food group until themselves. They are AMAZING. The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating. If you're in Anchorage, join the locals and try the Artic Roadrunner.

Great place to come as a family. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek! Also, be sure to try the blackberry shake! Be sure to bring cash, because no credit or debit cards are accepted.

Best cheeseburger in Anchorage! I like the old timey burger joint vibe. The pickle and pepper bar is awesome. The only thing is you have to pay cash, but you can order on Doordash? I think if they’re taking credit online, they could do it inside as well.

This place is a Landmark in Anchorage. We’ve been coming here for decades. The atmosphere represents a lot of what Alaska is all about. It’s always great to look around at all the many pictures and other neat things. The food is consistently great too with lots of choices.. A must visit place for local folks and visitors alike. It is in a convenient location and not far from the airport.

The food and milkshakes were good! Attention to detail to make sure the order was correct was great. They put your milkshake in a cooler once made, until your order is ready. The restaurant was cool inside and had a nice view of the stream by the window, or you could sit outside by the stream. Just a note, as mentioned. Cash only!

Arctic Road Runner 🤔 Been a favorite hamburger place for around, almost 30 years now. It's a quaint dine in burger joint with a lot of nostalgic pictures of visiting customers and old fish and game pictures. The burgers are awesome with great fries and shakes as well. If you haven't been there, I recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed. I do want to let you know, they only except cash over the counter. Lastly, the place is along side of the Campbell Creek with outdoor seating. Wild life and salmon viewing occasionally. Overall, Highly Recommend..❤️ Oh yeah, the picture was taken of the seating area at 15° below zero. 😁
